CHANGE INITIATIVE
In an Innovation Group, we are engaged in shaping a fresh narrative on learning and education, we refer to this work as 'A new Narrative of Learning and Education '.
BACKGROUND
The aim is to formulate a proposal for an educational policy vision that will form the basis for a renewed consideration not only of the purposes that should guide the development of primary and lower secondary schools, but also of how we can support this in society.
The Innovation Group started working in January 2023
Education and youth
Currently, the innovation team consists of eight members of the Academy, the secretariat and two external experts.
OPPORTUNITY
We see an opportunity to bring back the relational aspect at its core and prerequisite for education and learning. By this we mean relationships across people, students, teachers, organizations and domains. The desire is to create and support more spaces for resonance and increased experience for everyone that we are not alone and that the community grabs us.
APPROACH
The innovation group consists of both actors close to the education system and actors on the edge of the education system. All are humble about the agenda itself and aware that the legitimacy of a contribution must be based on the cross-sectoral approach. Specifically, two identified tracks are explored: an experimental practice track and an educational policy track with a focus on the purpose of primary school.
